CEO & Founder
Rose Ann Howell ("Mama Maua")has been involved in benevolence work in Kenya since 2007, in Jesus' name. She seeks to bring relief to many but especially to empower poor women and widows through material & financial aid and small business start-ups; and to empow-er former street children, orphans and the poor through spiritual and educational opportunities and enlightenment. To God be the glory Who Alone is her help, source of strength and her vision-bearer.

CFO & Financial Advisor
Benson Mukhwami, a Kenyan and a serious Christian, works tirelessly to carry out financial directives, traveling long distances over poor roads to bring persons needing medical treatments to hospitals, pay school fees, ensure building materials, food relief and business start-ups are secured and properly carried out, and mediating through- out difficulties. Benson has been a faithful, trustworthy and indispens-able partner in the work since 2010. Like the CEO, he insists upon serv-ing without financial remuneration for his ongoing selfless service.

Advisor & Consultant
Mr. Kimani, a graduate of Penn State University, resident of Kenya, and owner of Shades of Africa, a safari company & Sawela Lodges of Naivasha, Kenya, is a long time friend of CEO Mama Maua. Well versed in Kenyan culture and propriety, and, with his giftings in diplomacy, leadership and financial acumen, Kimani, along with his business partner Jackson Kimuri, provides invaluable advice and guidance to Remember the Poor. Mr.Jackson Kimuri is also a valued board member of Remember the Poor, Inc. In February, 2020 Abraham Howell, son of Rose Ann Howell, was voted onto the board for succession purposes. Abraham has visited Kenya about 8 times, and in 2016 lived there for 5 months, proving to be a great help.
